A championship motorcycle contest is planned for Carson later this year.
Monster Energy Supercross, a dirt-bike racing championship, is to be held indoors, at the Dignity Health Sports Park. Supercross is an outgrowth of motocross, the original sport. Motocross courses are outdoor sites, usually of long length, and built into the existing terrain. Supercross courses are created when dirt is hauled inside stadiums, and the course built on the floor.
Monster Energy Supercross events are held both inside and outside, depending on the weather in the host city, from January through May. Bringing the races inside means spectators can easily see all the bumps, turns, and jumps that make the sport so exciting. Banner printing is an excellent method to use to create suitable decorations for events of this type.
There are two classes racing in this championship: the 450SX Class, and the 250SX Class. The designation refers to the bike's cubic centimeter capacity. Riders in the 450SX ride 450cc machines; those in the 250SX class ride smaller bikes with 250ccs.
The smaller motorcycles are often ridden by younger riders, and the class is split into two regions, east and west. Each region names its champion, and only one region competes in each round, until the finale of the entire series.
The 2020 Monster Energy Cup is scheduled for October 10 at 7.00 pm. The sports park is on South Avalon Boulevard in Carson.
