The 2025 California Land Recycling Conference (CALRC) will return to Carson this September.
The event is being organized by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control’s Office of Brownfields and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 9 in partnership with the Center for Creative Land Recycling. The event will convene professionals dedicated to the revitalization of underused and contaminated land.
CALRC is designed for planners, municipal leaders, community advocates, and environmental professionals seeking to leverage land reuse as a tool for economic and community development. The conference will offer workshops, case studies, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that address critical aspects of brownfield transformation.
In addition to the main programming, attendees can participate in unique events such as the “Brownfield Karaoke Sing-Along” on the evening of September 17th, limited to 50 participants. This informal gathering will provide a platform for relaxed networking accompanied by music, beverages, and light refreshments.
The CALRC will also feature a sponsorship and exhibitor program. This program has five levels of participation, which will offer visibility, speaking opportunities, and promotional benefits.
