Carson will be the place to be soon when major hip-hop and rhythm and blues artists gather to perform.
On the single “Lovers and Friends,” Usher and Ludacris sang the lyric, “Tell me again we can be lovers and friends.” Now, Usher and Ludacris, along with Lil Jon, TLC, and Ms. Lauryn Hill, will be the headliners at an upcoming music festival named for the hit song.
The Lovers & Friends Festival will feature a number of major hip-hop and R&B stars including Trick Daddy, Twista, Saweetie, Ginuwine, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Monica, Brandy, Lil Kim, T-Pain, Sean Paul, Nelly, Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, and Jhene Aiko. Some of the artists are seasoned pros, while others are just at the start of their careers.
The line-up of artists indicates the resurgence of interest in retro hip-hop and rhythm and blues music. Flyer printing is an excellent way to create handouts for attendees at events like this.
At this time, the Lovers & Friends Festival is scheduled for May 9, in Carson, at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park. Tickets have been on sale since February, so those interested in going should purchase theirs now, as the event could sell out. In addition, attendees might like to check the website occasionally to see if there is any change in the status of the event.
