Carson youngsters to craft their own microscopes

Carson kids who are fascinated by the natural world may enjoy being part of an upcoming workshop that will introduce them to the microscopic world that can be found all around them.

The team at the city’s Home Depot location will be walking kids through a project that will see them prepare a microscope using provided materials. It will take place in the morning, and it will run for one hour.

The class, which is intended for youngsters from the ages of 4 to 12, will teach attendees how to use a few basic tools by engaging in hands-on activity. They will each build their own microscope, and once their project is complete, they can use their creation to look at the samples the organizers will supply. Admission to the session is free of charge.

Kids may really enjoy a chance to get creative, and creating their own project also gives them a chance to boost their self-confidence. Printed aprons and other clothing for a class like this can be prepared by a printing services company.

The Home Depot located at 110 East Sepulveda Boulevard in Carson will be introducing kids to the microscopic world on September 2nd. The registrants are asked to arrive by no later than 9:00 am, and the activity will wrap up at 10:00 am.
