An event on the way to Carson will provide members of its corporate community with an opportunity to learn more about how they can take advantage of area contracting opportunities.
The organizers of Metropolitan Industry Day explained that it will give those in the consulting and construction community a time to come together. They will be encouraged to create and strengthen partnerships, and a complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
During the session, attendees will be walked through the various upcoming opportunities for contracting with the Pure Water Southern California ruse initiative, and they will also be introduced to an assortment of projects designed to reduce the impact of drought in the area. Both traditional design-bid-build and alternative project delivery will be discussed, and the goal is for everyone who attends to learn how they can take advantage of the opportunities presented. Metropolitan's Construction Management and Project Management staff will be on hand to meet the crowd.

This in-person introduction to the opportunities available to Carson consultants and contractors is scheduled to be held on February 2, getting underway at 8:00 am. The Carson Event Center will be the venue for the day.
