Women who have always wanted to give golf a try but were unsure how to get started are invited to up their game at a Carson area event.
The SheWhoGolfs seminar will offer an introduction to golf for the newbie player, and it has been organized so that even women who are busy may be able to fit it into their schedule. As a lot of networking takes place out on the links, knowing how to play can be a valuable skill for businesswomen, and the activity will be a gentle introduction with no competition.
The newest crop of golfers will be taught the basics of the game, and jargon, course layout, and etiquette are all on the agenda. It will be a hands-on activity, with everyone getting a chance to get in some practice, and dinner will be served as well. A raffle draw is also in the works for the occasion.
Along with the instruction and an opportunity to get some hands-on experience, each registrant will go home with a SheWhoGolfs handbook. Print shops can supply printed texts and manuals using comb binding and other techniques.
This easy introduction to the art and science of golf is scheduled for October 7 at Lakewood Golf Course. It will begin at 2:30 pm sharp.
