Carson companies to attend information session

Companies interested in potential opportunities with The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California will soon be attending a Carson function on offer for the construction and consulting industries.

Metropolitan Industry Day has been designated as an event that will both build partnerships in the water treatment and environmental sectors, and inform delegates about opportunities that may be open to them. The Pure Water Southern (PWSC) California reuse program and various projects focused on drought sustainability will all be discussed, and networking sessions have been built into the schedule.

The participants will be invited to enjoy breakfast while they meet, mingle, exchange Business Cards, and build connections, and staff members from Metropolitan's Construction Management and Project Management will be on hand. There will be an introduction to the PWSC and how industry can get involved through both traditional design-bid-build systems and alternative project delivery methods.

Communities that accept tenders and bids for various projects can count on area printers to supply them with packages to distribute to local companies looking to secure government and organization contracts. A brochure printing company will be happy to help, and it will have many ways to share information.

Metworks will be holding this in-person meeting for local industry representatives on Thursday, February 2. It will be on offer starting at 8:00 am at the Carson Event Center.
