This February, Carson residents will be able to show some love to Fido and Fluffy by making sure they will be safely returned home should they ever become lost.
The American Legion Post #335 in South Gate will be the venue for the South Gate Cats “Microchip your furry loved one” event. It will be a first come, first served function, and registration is required on the scheduled day for the activity.
Families that plan on providing a forever home for their dog or cat will be able to have them microchipped on site, and this can be used by animal control personnel in case their pet becomes lost or strays from home. There will also be free dog and cat food available for distribution to anyone who is experiencing financial hardship.
The organizer of the day explained that there may be additional microchips available should the group be able to raise more funds ahead of the event. A flyer printing company often proves to be a valuable partner in ensuring fundraisers and other activities are well attended and meet their intended financial goals.
South Gate Cats has made arrangements to host its microchipping event on February 12. Spots will be available for booking from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and the location will be 9535 California Avenue in South Gate.
