An event for those who enjoy pop culture, and especially anime, is scheduled for Torrance, a short drive from Carson.
Oh! and the SoCal Esty Guild are hosting the Anime Culture Expo Takeover, a celebration of the anime artform, as well as popular culture. The Guild is a group of artists and crafters based in Southern California and their supporters, and they are limiting vendors to those who handle pop culture items and anime only.
Vendors with handmade products, local designers, and artists will be on hand, with food and giveaways are also planned. All vendors’ items must fit in one of these categories: artisanal pre-packaged food, original design, vintage, handmade, or art, and all items should be family-friendly. However, non-profit organizations are welcome to take part. Flyer printing is a perfect method to use to create handouts for events like this, listing vendors.
The event is only one day long, and vendors will be near a main entrance to the mall, close to Forever 21. Vendors and attendees are expected to comply with any health regulations in effect on the day of the event. Attendees are also advised that due to health concerns, mall hours may be shorter than usual.
The Takeover is scheduled for August 14, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at the Del Amo Fashion Center. The event is outdoors, so will be rescheduled if it rains.
