Tour de Scottsdale returns

One of the largest biking events in Scottsdale, the Tour de Scottsdale, will be returning to Scottsdale in mid-April.

Some of the “I Just Want to Ride” will be the 62-mile Platinum Metric Century and Youth Platinum Metric Century for platinum riders who meet stringent requirements and the Youth and Adult Metric Century, Military/First Responders Metric Century. Youth entry fee will be $40 and adult rides will cost $140, except for the Military and 1st Responders where the fee will be only $100. Entry for the VIP Metric Century will cost $300. These rides will be on Saturday, April 12th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There will also be 33-mile Youth and Adult, Military and First Responders, Tandem and VIP Half Metric Century races beginning at 8:30 am.

Race swag will include finisher medals and men or women's t-shirts. The VIP package will include jerseys and cycling caps. Cycling caps, shorts, bibs and jerseys will be available for purchase at registration.

Major races like this often have their merchandise printed with the event's logo design at local print shops.

A Post-Ride Celebration will take place at WestWorld of Scottsdale's North Hall Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Amenities will include a catered lunch live music, and drinks.

This year's Tour de Scottsdale will take place April 12th beginning and ending at WestWorld.
