Three themed events scheduled for Scottsdale
Three Persian-themed events have been planned for Scottsdale toward the end of February and early March.
A three-hour Desert Dream Fashion Show will blend “Persian glamour” with the untamed essence of the United States' Southwest.
Colorful fashions like these are often depicted on travel postcards and note card sets produced by expert stationery printers.
The show will take place at the Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West, 3830 North Marshall Way on Wednesday, February 28 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
The next evening, the Scottsdale Arts, Stagebrush Theater, 7020 E Second Street will present Voices Unveiled, a three-part musical composed by Ehsan Matoori, featuring Maliheh Moradi and Mina Deris on vocals. VIP tickets are $90, with premium tickets costing $65.00 and reserved general admission tickets priced at $45. The three-hour show will begin at 7:30pm.
The 2024 Persian New Year Festival will offer tea houses, art installations, food vendors, and a dedicated children's area. The day will be filled with dance, music, cuisine, and art that showcases Persian heritage and culture.
Hosted by Leila Parnian and FarzyLoko with headliners Andy Madadian and Shani, the show will have special guest DJ Tapesh, traditional Persian music, and folklore dances. Tickets will be on sale the week of the event for $10.
The 2024 Persian New Year Festival will take place from 11:00am to 6:00pm at Old Town Scottsdale's Waterfront, 7135 East Camelback Road.
