Scottsdale to host early Independence Day celebration

Scottsdale will be presenting its Independence Day celebration a little early this year. Over 300,000 square-feet of air-conditioned comfort will be transformed into a wonderland of family-oriented patriotic games, entertainment, and fireworks.

Activities will be divided into two categories – paid and free. The paid activities will require wristbands. These will include a Black Diamond Slide of 35 feet in length, two obstacle courses including a vertical one, a Wipeout Big Balls Game, and a mechanical bull. There will also be A Treasure of the Caribbean Obstacle Course and Rocking Pirate Ship Carnival ride and a Kiddie Ferris Wheel. Little ones aged 5 and under will get to enjoy Toddler Town where they can ride the Six Lane Carnival-themed Slide, play in the Circus World play land and go through the Caterpillar Mini Obstacle Course.

Free activities will include fireworks, Star Wars interactive stations, a bull riding show, dance party and game trucks. Other freebies will be a petting zoo, pony rides, and games for the whole family. Flippenout will present a high-flying trampoline show. Live music and other entertainment will be on the Community Stage. Scottsdale Police Department’s Mounted Unit will have the Presentation of Colors.
Events such as these rely on large numbers to be successful, and can find poster printing or flyers to be of great benefit when promoting to the general public.

The event will be at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road here in town. It is scheduled for Saturday, July 2nd starting at 3:00 pm and going until 9:30 pm.
