Scottsdale Philharmonic presents next free concert

Arizona’s Premiere Philharmonic, the Scottsdale Philharmonic, will be performing its next concert in a couple of weeks, celebrating the works of four esteemed composers.

This professional symphony orchestra will be presenting an evening of Bach, Rossini, Mendelssohn, and Offenbach, and Tales of Hoffman will complete the performance.

Although the event will be free, many classic music patrons may prefer to purchase VIP preferred Seating for $15. These donations will guarantee a premiere seating location, private entrance, and VIP treatment. By paying for these tickets, patrons are also helping the Scottsdale Philharmonic to continue providing free classical music to our community.

The professional musicians that make up the orchestra are volunteers. Patrons can honor their favorite orchestra members by sponsoring them in the Honor a Musician program. In order to do this, they fill out a form and send it along with a tax-deductible gift of $100 donation to the Scottsdale Philharmonic. The patron’s name and the honoree’s name will be included in five consecutive concerts booklet printing. This money will also go to the Scottsdale Philharmonic programs.

Funding for the non-profit orchestra is also gathered through the Community Event Funding Program, through which a number of yearly events are organized.

This event is scheduled for Sunday, May 21 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Scottsdale Bible Church, 7601 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale.
