Scottsdale parties at 3 Ps

Scottsdale will have three P festivities – Persian New Year Festival, Polish Picnic and Parada de Del Rodeo - during March.

From March 5th through Sunday March 8th, WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road will hold its 67th annual Parada del Sol Rodeo. Along with the much-anticipated professional bull riding show there will be dancing and live music. Proceeds will go to local charities.

On the 7th the Persian New Year Festival 2020 will take place on the Scottsdale Water Front, 7135 E. Camelback Road. Sounds of Persia will permeate kids’ activities, dance and other live performances, food, drinks and desserts. Proceeds will go to the Ivy Brain Tumor Center.

McCormick Stillman Railroad Park, 7301 E. Indian Vend Road, will hold the Annual Polish Picnic, Sunday, March 15th starting at noon. The event will offer authentic Polish food such as bigos, kielbasa, pierogis and pastries. Kids can play in bouncers and enjoy other activities such as the carousels and train rides.

Along with polish music there will be the annual volleyball tournament, and the train museum will be open. Entry will be free and food tickets can be purchased at the door. Proceeds will go to supporting the history, traditions and cultural programs of the Polish American Congress Arizona Division.

Cities that have events such as these often have pictures taken by their officials. These pictures can be taken to local print shops to be included in brochure printing for visitors’ guides.
