Scottsdale Motorsports enthusiasts ready for a supershow
The Motorsports Showcase Supershow will be coming to Scottsdale in mid-August.
Over 450 of the nation’s most impressive custom vehicles – such as cars, trucks, bikes and motorcycles, antique peddle cars, special interest vehicles, lowriders, and hotrods – will be vying for over $12,000 in prizes and cash.
Comedian Joey Medina and Mega 104.3’s Manic Hispanic will be the on stage hosts for the live performances. Among the performers will be Kid Frost, the OG Lowrider legend, The Gap Band Experience, and DJ Kane – the Original Kumbia King. Other groups will be Daphee, Rodney O and Joe Cooley, and Aalon – Rock N Roll Gangster. Fans will want to check with these performers to see if they have any promotional products for purchase.
The Lowrider Legacy History Tour will be an exhibit that will feature memorabilia and treasures such as Raw Deal the first Lowrider Truck of the Year. The purpose of the project is to celebrate the history and educate about the lowrider culture.
The Boulevard Art Invitational Big Brush Bash, presented by Bugs Auto Art, will have both local and national artists demonstrating their artist skills. Some of these artists will be Efrain Bugs Gonzales, Alejandro Vega, and Danny D. Galvez. They will also be displaying and discussing their concepts and styles.
The event will be held at Westworld of Scottsdale at 16601 N. Pima Road on Saturday, August 12, running from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
