Scottsdale makes cool start to August
Next week, Slide Across America will be presented by AZ Bounce Pro.
This event will feature two of the world’s tallest inflatable water slides. One will be the 42-feet high Dropkick Slide. The other one, the Hippo, will tower 40 feet high.
This travelling water party will be a two-day event that includes 25 inflatable water slides with 40 attractions in all, including bungee jumping and zip lines. At the bottom of the Dropkick Slide, riders will get launched into the air. Safety is ensured though, as the riders land on a stunt bag.
The three Trill Seeker rides range from 27 feet to 36 feet in height, and these will end with slip and slides into pools. The ‘Nothin’ but Fun’ rides will range between 18 feet to 25 feet, and will include the corkscrew slide, the rockin-rapids, and the dual lane. Kids over 48 inches tall can ride the kiddie slides, which will be for toddlers up to eight year olds. Other activities will be rock climbing and face painting. Artists will draw guests in caricature and balloon artists will be making and passing out balloon figures to the kids. Parents will surely want to take plenty of pictures for future postcard printing.
The event will be 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on August 7 and 8 at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Scottsdale.
