Scottsdale looks forward to Spooktacular
Scottsdale’s annual Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival is coming in a couple of weeks.
The three-day event will feature over 20 hot air balloons. The glow will last approximately from 5:45 pm to around 9:15 pm. Tethered rides will be sold onsite. Each balloon will be a trick-or-treat station, and 4,000 pounds of candy will be ready for little ghosts and goblins each evening.
Stationery printers often use colorful hot air balloon photos in making note card sets or postcards.
A free Kids’ Zone will have more than 30 attractions, slides, and a magic show. Everyone will want to wear their Halloween finery on Friday and Saturday nights to enter the spooky Costume Contests.
A free Spook Trail will open at 6:00 pm thanks to Saguaro High School students who will be “scaring the crowd”. A vendor’s market will be onsite selling Halloween-themed items. The Mermaid Princess and Rapunzel will be holding meet-and-greets on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Adult tickets are $22, and children under 12 years old will pay $17.50 on Friday and Saturday; and $17 for adults and $12 for children on Sunday. Adult tickets will go up $5 as the event gets closer. All tickets must be purchased online.
The Halloween Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place Friday, October 27, and Saturday October 28th from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm, and Sunday, October 29th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Talking Stick’s Salt River Fields, 7555 N. Pima Road.
