Scottsdale knows how to celebrate the Fourth
Scottsdale has no fewer than four events scheduled for the 4th of July.
WestWorld of Scottsdale’s 9th Annual 4th of July Celebration will feature Western-themed activities such as bull riding and mutton busting, along with games such as the chicken dance, cake walks, and the Cha Cha Slide. The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show will be presented by Mayor Ortega, and there will be live performances of the “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from the Disney film Encanto. Healthcare, veterans, fire safety, and community leaders will be honored in the Parade of Heroes. Fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm.
WestWorld is located at 1601 N. Pima Road, and the event will run from 5:00 pm to right after the fireworks.
Meanwhile, McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park at 7301 E. Indiana Bend Road will present its annual Redd, White and Choo and Choo event from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A live DJ will emcee the event that will include bounce houses, a dunk tank, a mechanical bull ride, and water slides. There will be pie-eating contests for both kids and adults, family field games, and unlimited carousel and train rides.
Other 4th of July Scottsdale events will be the 12th Annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and Red, White and Boom Fireworks Extravaganza at the Gainey Ranch Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa.
Organizers of holiday events such as these often use photos of the events in their advertising brochure printing.
