Scottsdale June summer concert series announced
The free summer rock-and-roll concert series in Scottsdale's McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park will be continuing for four more Sunday evenings in June.
On June 2nd, the band Outside the Lines will play Motown & Top 40 and food trucks that will be at the venue will be Chew Philly, Pizza Arno and Maui Wowi Gilbert. Candle in the Wind will perform the Elton John Experience on June 9th and Harkins will be the onsite food truck. Backdoor Funk will bring R&B and Funk on June 16th and Super Farm will bring the food.
The series will end on June 23rd with a Glow-up Party featuring DJ-TranzL8R. This will be a foam glow party targeting kids from the ages of 4 to 14. Guests will want to come dressed in neon or white clothes to enjoy dancing in the glow foam under black lights. There will also be games, and Harkins and Batchelor's Pad BBQ will be on hand selling summer treats and snacks. Glow-in-the dark accessories will be available for purchase.
Pictures taken at events such as this often go to local print shops to be added to the town's visitor guides.
The Glow-up party will take place from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Guests may bring blankets, chairs and picnics, carousel and train rides will be available for $3 and run until 9:00 pm. Hartley's General Store will be open.
