Scottsdale hot air balloon show has Halloween theme
The annual Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival will be returning to Scottsdale in late October.
The three-day weekend will feature more than 20 hot air balloons from around the nation passing out over 4,000 pounds of candy and treats. A free kids' zone will feature more than 30 attractions including inflatable slides. Daring guests may enjoy the free Spook Trail.
To get the best view of the lights and action, guests may ride in tethered balloons thanks to Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co. Adult tickets are $30, and children's tickets for kids under 10 years old will be $20.
A Spooktacular Marketplace will have Halloween-themed crafts, arts, merchandise, food and beverages for sale. Merchants that attend events like this often dress up and have custom business cards printed.
Friday and Saturday nights will end with fireworks.
Other activities will include a magic show and meet-and-greets with Elsa and Princess Anna from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Everyone is invited to attend dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes on Friday and Saturday nights. Prizes will be awarded.
Admission to the festival will be $22 for adults and $17 for children under 13 years of age.
