Scottsdale goes to home show
Many here in Scottsdale will be heading to the next Maricopa County Home, Plant & Flower Show coming in mid-May.
The show will feature gardenscapes, flowers, a houseplant market, and more than 1000 contractors and home and garden vendors in over 350,00 square foot of show floor. Forty-thousand square feet of that space will house the 2nd annual Floral Showcase with 45-foot floral displays, gardens, flower market, and houseplant and artisan market.
A Walk-up Plant Bar will offer free hands-on gardening sessions with topics such as edible blooms, and Eucalyptus and Floral Shower Bundles. Each workshop will be 15 minutes long.
Event organizers for shows like this often get their event brochure printing done for the next show, started right after the current show ends. These brochures usually contain names of exhibitors, special show features, lists of class schedules and coupons.
Live demonstrations will include crafting rugs and creating glass cacti and flowers. Main Stage seminars will have live plant repotting, and a floral magic show. University of Arizona Master Gardeners will be giving free short seminars and TikTok-inspired crafting workshops will offer hands-on, make-and-take experiences.
Tickets for adults will be $10 and children from 4 to 12 can get in for $3.
