Scottsdale goes golfing
Two Scottdale golfing events – a clinic and a classic - are scheduled for later this month.
Advancing Women in the Transportation Industry in Metro Phoenix will host A Spring Golf Clinic in a couple of weeks. Golf pros will be teaching putting fundamentals. The evening will end with a friendly putting competition. With business discussions often taking place on the golf course, attendees will want to bring updated business cards to this networking opportunity.
The Clinic will be from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a happy hour afterwards. Registration is $50. The Spring Golf Clinic will take place May 17 at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, 7505 E. McCormick Parkway.
On Monday, May 22, the Scottsdale Chorus Harmony Golf Classic Golf Fore Music will be presented by Scottsdale Chorus of Sweet Adelines International.
Registration will be $175 per golfer and will include fees, carts, awards, range balls, auction, and food.
Auction and registration will begin at 10:30 am with a putting contest at 11:00 am. The shotgun start using a scramble format will be at 12:30 pm. The 19th Hole will have raffles, food, awards, and no-host cocktails beginning at 5:30 pm. Proceeds will go to the Scottsdale Chorus.
