Scottsdale fans to meet celebs during softball weekend
The 7th Annual Larry Fitzgerald Double Play Celebrity Soft Ball Game Weekend will be upon us soon, and everyone’s favorite athletes and celebrities will be having fun and meeting the crowd.
The little ones will have their own kids’ zone which will have a softball diamond, face painting, and balloon artists.
A Home Run Derby will precede the big game. Larry Fitzgerald and some of his Arizona Cardinals teammates will impress the crowds by showing off their baseball skills. They will be handing out autographs and memorabilia during the game.
Fans will be able to get photos of themselves and their favorite celebrities and athletes for later poster printing. A live auction will be offering one-of-a-kind items for bidding. A VIP After Party will begin when the game finishes.
General admission will be $20 and children under two will be free. Proceeds from this event will go to the Larry Fitzgerald’s First Down Fund. This fund is used to help needy families throughout the world.
The fun will be at the Salt River Field, 7555 N. Pima Road here in Scottsdale on April 22. Gates will open at 5:00 pm, the Home Run Derby begins at 6:00 pm, and the game time will be at 7:00 pm. The After Party will start at 9:00 pm and go until 2:00 am at W Scottsdale, 7277 East Camelback Road
