Scottsdale celebrates season at Salt River Fields
Salt River Fields will have its annual Enchant Christmas event beginning in late November.
An all-new larger-than-life Light Maze entitled “The Mischievous Elf” will be an immersive experience where guests are asked to find eight toys that Eddie the mischievous elf and his sidekick Sparky the reindeer have misplaced.
Boutiques, specialty crafters, and artisans will be vending items for holiday gifts. Guests may also purchase seasonal beverages and treats.
Santa will be available for pictures at Santa’s Landing in the Enchant Village. Although professional photography will be available, many families often like to take their own photos then take the photos to nearby print shops, perhaps to be included in their annual family newsletters.
A real ice trail will be lined with a lighted Christmas Forest, where skates will be provided. Kids up to the age of seven and their parents will have an opportunity to participate in activities in the Little Elves’ Play Place.
On December 3, guests may bring their furry friends to Paws and Claus. Part of the money for these tickets will go towards meals for shelter dogs. December 14 and 21 will be reserved for Ladies’ Night Out, and college and university alumni, faculty, and students are invited to College Student Night on December 15 and 28.
General admission will be $34 for adults and $25.50 for children ages 3 through 17.
Enchant will open Friday, November 24 and run until December 31 at Talking Stick, 7555 N Pima Road.
