What's Happening in Scottsdale, AZ…

Scottsdale celebrates 4th of July

This year, Scottsdale will celebrate its 8th annual 4th of July event with the largest fireworks display in its history.

The evening will begin with a VIP Back Yard Barbeque featuring all-you-can-eat-buffet-style BBQ, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, dessert, and salad. Live music will be by Some Like it Yacht, and there will be balloon artists and face painters. A “Snow Day in July” will include a giant snow slide for kids. This area will offer exclusive seats for the fireworks.

Gates open for the VIP BBQ at 5:00 pm. Tables seat from two to ten guests. Adult tickets are $36 and kid tickets are $18.

The Polo Field will be the best grass area for chairs and blankets. Each vehicle will have a larger area surrounding it, offering views of the fireworks. Since tickets are $36 per carload, Polo Field tickets can accommodate a number of guests per ticket. Gates for the Polo Field will open at 6:30 pm.

General admission of $21 will also be per carload, and the gate will also open at 6:30 pm.

Many cities that offer fireworks on the Fourth have local photographers take pictures during the event. These pictures usually go to local print shops to be entered in the visitor guide brochure printing.

Fireworks (nestled in front for the McDowell Mountains) will start around 9:00 pm at WestWorld of Scottsdale 16601 H. Pima Road.
