Mall to host summer concert series
The evenings have grown perfect for grabbing blankets and lawn chairs and heading out to free summer concerts in Scottsdale starting this month. The Nate Williams Band, an Arizona-based group, will be performing in just a couple of weeks at a local mall plaza.
This cover band will be presenting one of several free events being given in this annual Summer Concert Series.
Singer-songwriter Nat Williams and his cover band have been performing rock, acoustic, and dance music using electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums and other percussion instruments in and around the Phoenix metro area since 2010. The band also likes to create and perform original music.
The series is scheduled for every Saturday in June and July, except for July 5th. Some upcoming artists will include Rock Lobster, a Retro ‘80s band; Zona Road, a contemporary country artist; Chuck E. Baby, playing classic rock oldies; and the energetic party band Shallow Water. Details of these types of events may sometimes be incorporated into marketing materials by a venue’s brochure printers.
Space for the concerts is first come first served, and while picnicking is encouraged, glass containers are not. Children and pets are welcome, as long as both are supervised.
The Nate Williams Band will be performing Saturday, June 28th from 7pm till 9pm at the Center Plaza at Kierland Commons, 15205 North Kierland Blvd., Scottsdale.
