Opening ceremonies will be at the Gazebo Stage from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm on the Friday evening, followed by the Cub Scout Rain Gutter Regatta on Pittsburgh Street at 6:30 pm.

The Saturday’s festivities will begin with the 5K/10K Walk Run beginning at 9:00 pm on Pittsburgh St. At noon, crowds will be in place for the parade. This year’s theme will be “Bringing Together a Community that Cares.” Loucks Park will have the Southmoreland Color run at 3:00 pm, and the cornhole tournament will kick off at 3:45 pm in front of the Elks on Pittsburgh Street.

On Sunday, registration for the car show will run from 9:00 am until noon in the Rite Aid parking lot with the show running from noon to 4:00 pm. Mongell Tire parking lot will hold a Bigfoot meet-and-greet during that time too. At 2:00 pm, festival attendees will be heading over to Pioneer Way for the Bigfoot Car Crush. During the afternoon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, a chalk contest will be in progress in front of the Elks on Pittsburgh Street.

Cities that have fall festivals often have pictures taken during the event. These photos often go to local print shops to be added the town’s visitor guides.

Scottsdale Fall festival will run from Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18.
