Car shows and auctions bloom this month
Arizona Car Week will bring several car auctions to the region, along with car shows like the one hosted by Fourtillfour.
Next week, January 24 to 28, Gooding & Company Collector Car Auction will be at the corner of E. Highland Avenue on 4710 N. Scottsdale Road.
Scottsdale Otto Car Club invites collector car aficionados to RM Sotheby’s 23rd annual Arizona Auction taking place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa on Thursday, January 27. A preview of the eras and marques will be available from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on the day before.
Also on January 27, The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, 6902 E Greenway Parkway, will host the 11th annual Bonhams’ Scottsdale Auction.
Many car enthusiasts take business cards to these events for networking.
That weekend, Fourtillfour, an organization dedicated to classic machines and adventure, is hosting its first Fourtillfour Car Show. All proceeds will go to benefit Hilarity for Charity, an Alzheimer’s charity that advocates for prevention and cares for families that deal with the disease.
Vehicles accepted into the show must be pre-1997, vintage off-road 4x4s, vintage Japanese domestic market (JDM), exotics or vintage European. Although registration and admission are free, donations will be gratefully accepted.
Fourtillfour Car Show will be Saturday, January 29 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm at Fourtillfour, 7105 East First Avenue.
