Arts event kicks off 2022
The 2022 Arizona Fine Arts Expo will turn the heart of the Sonoran Desert into an art community featuring 124 art studios in a 44,000 square foot tent.
The Expo will be a combination of a juried fine arts festival, a gallery and a look into the day-to-day workings of artists’ studios.
Artists from around the U.S. will be displaying and creating works in bronze, metal, wood and copper sculptures, stone carvings, and hand-crafted furniture. Some will be working in abstract, modern, impressionism, realism, contemporary Southwest, Western, Mid-Century, and modern art. Paintings will be in oil, watercolor, mixed media, and acrylic. Artists will also show and create work in pencil, graphite, pen and ink drawings. There will also be works in gourds, glass, ceramics, jewelry and photography.
Along with buying their favorite art pieces, many Scottsdale attendees at art events such as this collect business cards from those artists they especially admire.
Café De Expo will offer hungry guests homemade global seasonal dishes, American cuisine, drinks, and snacks for purchase.
Season passes cost $12, while military and seniors are $10 and children under 12 years old will be free.
Arizona Fine Arts Expo will be a 10-week experience beginning January 14 and ending March 27. It will be located a little north of MacDonalds Ranch at 26540 North Scottsdale Road and East Jomax.
