Arizona restaurants to host golf classic
The Arizona Restaurant Association (ARA) will be hosting a golf outing in May.
Individual registration will be $295, a foursome will cost $1,150, and an elite foursome (which includes a tee sign) will be $1,350.
Sponsor opportunities include $300 Tee Sign (company logo design on sign), and $500 Tee Sign Plus (tee sign benefits plus recognition on the ARA website and database). Golf Cart, Score Card and Putting Contest sponsor levels ($1,750) will come with company logo design on golf carts, score cards and company recognition during the putting contest respectively. Higher sponsor levels are also available.
The tournament will have swag bags, a glass break and putting contests, golf balls, and a drone drop.
This will be one of two golf classics ARA will host this year. The other one will be November. Players in both tournaments are advised to bring updated business cards for networking. Both events will also have beverage samplings and food tasting. Registration for each tournament will be limited to 144 players.
Proceeds will go to the AZ Restaurant Strong Fund. This organization has been formed to help the restaurant industry’s unemployed service staff (dishwashers, line cooks, bussers, bartenders, waitstaff and other employees) to pay their rent, buy groceries, get prescriptions filled, and care for their children.
The first Arizona Restaurant Association Golf Classic for 2021 will be at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, 7505 E. McCormick Parkway, Scottsdale, on May 10.
