Arizona awaits weekend music festival
The Pot of Gold Music Festival will be in the Scottsdale region for a couple of days, rain or shine.
The festival will be family-friendly, although the VIP packages are for guests over 21. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
A total of 21 bands, mostly with a punk influence, will be performing on the venue’s two stages. The first evening, the Mystic Roots Band, Latchafire, Matisyahu, 111, and Sublime with Rome will be playing on the west end of the venue. The East side will have Smokepurpp, Designer, Action Bronson, Rae Sremmurd, and G-Easy.
The second day of the event will see Potty Mouth, Wolf Parade, X-Ambassadors, Fitz & the Tantrums, and Death Cab For Cutie take to the west stage, and We the Kings, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, NOFX, and Flogging Molly on the east one. On both days, each stage will have local acts.
Scottsdale fans will want to check with their favorite groups to see if they have brought any promotional products.
The festival will be at the Rawhide Western Town & Event Center and Sonoran Lawn 5700 W. North Loop Road, Chandler, taking place today and tomorrow. The event will open at 11:00 am each day, and shows will start at 2:00 pm and go until midnight. Tickets can be purchased at the box office outside of Frontier Hall an hour before the show.
