Arizona Asian Festival returns to Scottsdale
Culture by Day-Market by Night, the Original 25th Annual Arizona Asian Festival, will be returning to Scottsdale toward the end of October. The festivities will include food, fun, and music.
The new venue will offer an Avenue of Cultures featuring 20 cultures - Bangladeshi, Cambodian, Filipino, Indonesian, Karen, Laotian, Nepali, Pakistani Polynesian, Thai, Burmese, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Persian, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese. There will also be cultural performances and a fashion show. Culinary Taste of Asia will have food representing all these countries available for purchase. Hand-made arts and crafts will be for sale in the Asian Marketplace.
A Children’s Wonderland will offer play experiences that are commonly found in these countries. An interactive Tea Garden and other classic Culture exhibits will be on view. Civic and health engagements (including screenings) will also be on site. Veteran booths have also been invited to participate.
All sponsors and vendors will need to get their logo design and information to the event organizers as soon as possible to be sure to get included in this year’s Asian Festival Souvenir book.
