A concert paying tribute to Tina Turner and other rock legends is set to take the stage at the Chandler Center for the Arts this spring.
In addition to the headlining act, “Tina Tina,” the show will also celebrate the music of Elton John and Martina McBride. It will all be packaged in a 15-member cast that includes vocalists and musicians. Hit songs that will be played at the show include Independence Day, Bennie and the Jets, Proud Mary, Simply the Best, Private Dancer, Candle in the Wind, and Rocket Man.
It is not the first time the Legends of Pop has performed in Chandler. A similar concert was held in 2023 that included a cover artist for Michael Jackson.
Legends of Pop artists have performed on national talk shows and headlined concerts around the world, including in Las Vegas. The tribute band often sells out shows since it usually showcases the work of multiple world-famous artists in one concert. In addition, the singing is performed live, as is the music.
