Musical winter event for Chandler

A group is coming to Chandler that seems to have something for everyone: country, opera, and Broadway.

The vocal trio known as the Texas Tenors have won three Emmys, and finished in the top four acts of “America's Got Talent” in the show's fourth season, a feat that makes them the highest-ranking vocal group in the history of the show.

The trio got together in 2009, and comprises of John Hagen, who sings opera; Marcus Collins, a Broadway performer; and JC Fisher, a country singer. Their wide-ranging vocal backgrounds and abilities have made them comfortable with everything from country songs to Broadway numbers, and from Puccini to Bruno Mars.

The Texas Tenors filmed a PBS special in 2013, along with the Phoenix Symphony; in 2014, the special was nominated for five Emmy Awards, and won three. The trio has performed over 1,300 concerts in more than 20 countries, from China to Great Britain. ‘Billboard Magazine’ has named the trio one of its ‘Top 10 Classical Crossover Artists’.

One review of a Tenors' performance says:

“This group is so good, they immediately make you think of all the songs you’d love to hear them sing.”

The Texas Tenors will appear at the Chandler Center for the Arts on January 25, 2020, at 7:30 pm. Poster printing is frequently used to provide publicity when events like this are scheduled.
