Popular musicians Jesse & Joy are an award-winning brother-and-sister team from Mexico City. They formed their partnership in 2005, and since have released one live album, one EP, and four studio albums, all on the Warner Music Latin label. In addition, they have won Latin Grammy Awards in a number of categories, including a Best Latin Album Grammy Award.
The duo cite their parents' love of music of all kinds, from classical to folk and rock, as their inspiration. With their father's help, they began writing music when they were teenagers. Today, Jesse handles the piano duties, while Joy is the lead vocalist, and plays the drums and guitar.
The duo broke into the mainstream in 2016, when they released a dual-language album, “Jessie & Joy.” The work offered English versions of some of the songs from their previous studio albums, including hits such as "Ecos de Amor (Echoes of Love)”, “Espacio Sideral (Outer Space)", and “Corre! (Run!)”.
