The Chandler City Council recently named David Fuller to the position of Presiding City Magistrate, where he will lead the city's municipal court.
Kevin Hartke, Chandler's mayor, said he was confident that Fuller would be a great asset to the community as well as the city council because of how passionate he is for Chandler, the position he will hold, and his extensive judicial experience. Fuller's legal career stretches back 24 years. He worked at a law firm in Illinois before heading west to Arizona, where he worked in Gilbert as the Assistant Town Prosecutor. He had his own office in Chandler, Fuller Law Firm, for more than a decade, representing clients in municipal, state, and federal courts on criminal matters. He went on to Phoenix in 2014, where he was Assistant Director of the Public Defender's Office. He is returning to Chandler from his position in Phoenix.
Fuller has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, and a Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. Fuller, who is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, also holds the position of a Criminal Justice Executive Council Member, and sits on the Criminal Defense Practice and Procedure Committee. He is also on the Arizona Celtic Bar Association, and the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice Board of Directors.
