Concert scheduled in Chandler

An in-person musical performance is on the schedule in Chandler.

The Chandler Children’s Choir is presenting “Simple Gifts: A Spring Concert,” to welcome warmer weather and to celebrate being able to share the gift of song. Concert organizers note that during the past year, many people have reconsidered their priorities, and the choir members have realized that music is important to them. They will share their music with audiences with the help of drummer Josh Gottry and bassist Nick Villalobos, who is a member of Simply Three.

There are two separate performances scheduled: the Junior and Encore Choirs will perform at 2.00 pm, followed by the Cantus Choir at 3.15 pm. Tickets are available for separate performances, or for both.

To make certain everyone remains healthy, the venue is putting restrictions in place. First, everyone must wear a well-fitting mask throughout the entire event, without exception. Second, the venue is selling only 25% of its available seats, to allow for proper distancing. Third, seats will be sold in groups of two or four, and each group will be separate from others. Finally, groups that are sitting together will be admitted at the same time, so all group members need to be present before entry. Brochure printing can be used to create programs for events like this.

The concert will take place May 1 at the Tri-City Baptist Church on West Germann Road.
