Music is coming back to Chandler, and patrons have a choice if they would like to attend a concert in person, or via live stream.
Intel is sponsoring the Free Summer Concert Series, and an upcoming event promises to cool everyone off with a combination of air conditioning and the blues. Those who prefer to attend in person are welcome to attend the Main Stage at Chandler Center for the Arts, which is comfortable and air conditioned. Those who would rather beat the heat at home can live stream the concert. Flyer printing can be used to spread the word about events like this.
The showcased act is Notes from Neptune, an eclectic outfit that plays everything from John Mayer to Pink Floyd and gives it all a blues twist, with modern pop, Motown, and classic rock given a whole new take. They perform classic ‘80s rock from The Doors and Pink Floyd, then move on to the Motown sound of James Brown. They might mix in something from Gnarls Barkley and jazz it up with Louis Armstrong. They also play their own original works.
The capacity for in-person seating is limited and groups will be socially distanced. Unvaccinated concert goers are asked to wear masks and maintain a minimum distance as recommended by health experts.
The concert is free and is set for July 23 at 7:30 pm.
