Chandler’s little ghosts and goblins have been invited to be part of a special evening of pre-Halloween fun, which is on offer, in part, thanks to the support of the city’s downtown merchants.
The city will be kicking Halloween off early with its Spooktacular celebration, and it will include trick-or-treating, as well as games, food, and other fun. There are two catwalk costume parades scheduled, and advance registration is not required to participate.
Families who take part will be able to play games and spend some time in the trunk-or-treat area, and they can also try their luck spinning the prize wheel. Food concessions will be set up, and there will be free parking at nearby garages. Sr. A.J. Chandler Park will serve as the venue for the event.
As with many other community festivals like this, the Chandler Halloween Spooktacular is counting on the generosity of area businesses. There are several sponsorship options to choose from, and the perks of doing so include having their Logo Design incorporated into the function’s marketing materials.
This evening of thrills and chills for Chandler families will be on offer on Friday, October 27, with the schedule for the event opening at 5:30 pm. Additional information for attendees and any companies interested in getting involved is available on the city’s website.
