A different kind of crawl in Chandler

Downtown Chandler will be the place to be for a crawl of a different sort.

The upcoming fun is not a pub crawl, but a tour of downtown restaurants that will be highlighting one of everyone’s favorite foods, bacon. The “You're Bacon Me Crazy Brunch Crawl®” is self-guided and will give participants a chance to visit some of the city’s best brunch restaurants. Each participating location will provide a snack and a drink for only $7.

There are two crawls scheduled, the Early Riser and the Snoozer. Early Risers will start their crawl at 10.00 am, while Snoozers will start at 12.00 pm.

More than a dozen restaurants are taking part. Some of the offerings include a half breakfast sandwich, along with either a beer, sangria, bloody mary, or mimosa, at Crust; a mimosa and half-order of beignets at The Stillery; and a mimosa and chilaquiles from La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen.

In order to keep everyone safe, health protocols will be followed including maintaining a minimum safe distance, wearing masks, and using hand sanitizer. Attendees will also have their temperatures taken when they register, and the registration will be done outdoors, at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort.

Registration includes free parking, a brochure with information about participating restaurants and their Menus; a branded mask; and a wristband. Brochure printing is often used to create informative materials for events like this.

The Brunch Crawl will take place May 15.
