The 2nd Annual Casa Grande Southwest Taco Fest is holding a block party event at Dave White Regional Park that will include local food vendors, musical performances, and more.
Sponsored in part by the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Office, the event will include kid-friendly activities, mariachis and a musical performance by Drew Park, a rising country star from Georgia.
Organizers said they hope to build on the momentum of last year’s Taco Fest, which saw over 2,000 people attend in its inaugural run, despite it being a blustery day outside.
At this year’s event, people can expect an abundance of tacos once again, but they will also be treated to a dance performance by the Folklorico Dancers and a musical performance by Mariachi Nueva Era. In addition, those who are 21 and older can enjoy margaritas and other adult beverages.
In terms of the Family Fun Zone portion of the event, child-friendly activities on offer include face painting, inflatable bouncy structures to play in, dance parties with foam and confetti, and beloved characters like Disney princesses and Spider-Man making appearances.
Food festivals like these may choose to use banner printing as a low-cost means of making venues visible to patrons from the street.
The 2nd Annual Casa Grande Southwest Taco Fest is happening on Saturday, March 29 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Dave White Regional Park, 2121 N Thornton Road in Casa Grande.
