The Casa Grande Main Library is hosting a slew of events for both bookworms and those looking for various Thanksgiving-themed activities throughout the month of November.
The Read Grateful 2026 event is happening from November 1 to 30 where participants can reflect on what they are thankful for, create reading logs, and turn them in to the library for badges.
For fans of Books for young people, an author event featuring several children’s and young adult writers is coming to the library on November 5 from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
November 10 will see the library hosting favorite Sesame Street characters in person from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with singalongs, dances, bingo, floor puzzles, marching games, crafts, a cookie toss and stories, all part of the fun.
A Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt will take place on November 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the library, with attendees tasked with searching for Thanksgiving-related objects for prizes.
Fall events like this may choose to use flyer printing to create scavenger hunt checklists, event schedules, and promotional materials.
Then, on November 18 at 1:30 pm, a lecture will be held at the library called Grounded: Creating with Land in Contemporary Native American Art. The discussion centers on the intersection of modernist aesthetics through the lens of Indigenous art, including in the media of photography, jewelry, weaving, and other artwork depicting landscapes.
All this is happening at the Casa Grande Main Library at 449 N Drylake Rd.
