Halloween in Casa Grande will be celebrated with a variety of events throughout October, from superheroes to spiders.
To help keep the Halloween spirit alive the entire month of October, the Casa Grande Main Library is holding its “Hallow-Read 2026” challenge, where people can log reading their spooky tales for prizes and badges.
For those who love all things spider-related, there is a free Spider Tales Storytime and Craft event on October 13 at 10 am at the Casa Grande Main Library at 449 N Drylake Rd.
Self-expression is the focus of a free follow-up Halloween event at that same location for a “Painting for Kids: Spooky Version” session on October 19 at 3:30 pm. An art teacher will guide participants ages 5-11 for fall-themed paintings, with cookies and water provided.
October 20 is a “Witchy Storytime and Craft” event, once again at the Casa Grande Main Library, with the focus being on witch-related tales and hands-on activities.
Halloween-themed events like this may choose to use poster printing to create low-cost promotion in the community.
Those interested can then get ready for an event with the popular Marvel arachnids when Selfies with Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen is happening on October 30 at 3 pm at Keller Williams at 475 E Cottonwood Ln in Casa Grande. This no-cost festival will not only have photo opportunities with the superheroes but also candy, face painting, a bounce house, games and cosplaying.
