The Casa Grande Main Library is hosting a variety of events to ring in the fall season beginning in September.
With fall including popular holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, several events are now lined up in Casa Grande to help people get into the festive spirit.
On Tuesday, September 8, community members are invited to celebrate Grandparents Day with donuts served from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Dorothy Powell Senior Center. Then, at 10 am, at the Activity Room of the Casa Grande Main Library, a storytime, craft, and playgroup event will take place. The event concludes with a tea party at 1:00 pm back at the Senior Center.
The following Tuesday, September 15, a themed walk will take place in keeping with the fall season. The StoryWalk Casa Grande series displays pages of children’s Books along a trail in Peart Park next to the library. September’s book is “Pumpkin Jack” by Will Hubbell.
A puppet show follows on Tuesday, September 22 at 10:00 am at the library, featuring family-friendly hands-on crafts. Craft events like this may choose to use Stationery printing to create art templates and instruction sheets.
Finally, the Casa Grande Public Library Book Mobile will also host a special event on Friday, September 25 as part of its Food Truck Friday series held at Mission Heights Prep High School in Casa Grande.
