Motocross events on track in Casa Grande
Motoland MX Park in Casa Grande has become the site of a series of ongoing motorcycle races.
The Arizona Vintage Motocross Championship races will feature bikes ranging from the 1960s to today's latest models.
The races are suitable for spectators of all ages, and the track's snack bar and store will be open during the contests. Another of the tracks at Motoland will still be open for practice.
A family-owned facility, Motoland offers a number of different options for various machines, including ATVs and motorcycles. Tracks meet American Motocross Association standards, and include an arena cross track, and a peewee track for beginning riders.
The race calendar’s latest instalment was last Sunday, December 6, and the next date to look out for is December 27, 2015, when the theme of ‘Rider Appreciation Day’ will be observed.
The schedule continues into the New Year, with four more races to look forward to. On January 24, the race is the ‘Duel in the Desert Championship 20’, and the February 16 race is scheduled for MC Motorsports Park in Tucson. On March 13, fans and participants will head to the Arizona Cycle Park in Buckeye, and the final race, on April 10, comes back to Casa Grande.
Track management could create banners for races to tie in with the holiday period and other seasonal themes.
