Casa Grande to host 5K running event
The 5K Run/Walk for Hope event is set to occur in Casa Grande next month.
Hosted by StartLine Racing, this race serves as a fundraiser for several local programs and organizations, including a community garden, the MACC wellness clinic, Jobs For Life, Hot Lunch For The Homeless, the Stanfield Free Medical Clinic, Los Angeles de Esperanza, and the Afterschool Program. Casa Grande Runners can begin 2021 with an outdoor 5K run or 1K walk or run while supporting the event’s efforts. The organizers of similar fundraiser events frequently choose poster printing to produce attention grabbing advertisements that notify passers-by as to event information and dates.
Runners who wish to take part in the event can register online. The 5K is priced at $40 per individual and the 1K Fun Run/Walk costs $30 per person. Children 16 years of age and younger can register for the 5K for $10 or at $5 for the 1K. Runners who will participate in groups can contact StartLine Racing for a discount. Anyone who wishes to support the event without running can choose the Sleep in for Hope registration option for $25. Registration availability ends on the day prior to the start of the race.
