The Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge will once again be proudly presenting an activity that will make the holiday season brighter for area kids.
The 38th annual Dennis Beye Memorial Toy Parade will soon be hitting the road, and it will be joined by a fundraising auction. Owners of all types of classic cars, motorcycles, hot rods, and service vehicles are encouraged to get involved, and both monetary contributions and the donation of gifts in kind for the auctions will be appreciated.
The staging area for the activity will be set up in Dave White Regional Park and Golf Course, and registration will open at 10:00 am. The fee to enter is either a new, unwrapped toy or a donation of $10. The finish line for the run will be The Property Conference Center, and here, a buffet-style luncheon will be set up. The donations collected will be distributed to kids in need by the Salvation Army, and live music, raffles, and both live and silent auctions are in the works.
Properly promoting a fundraiser to the public can be key to its success. A banner printing company will have an assortment of options available that may be a good fit for a charitable activity.
This event that will honor the life of Dennis Beye by bringing some joy into the lives of Casa Grande kids will hit the road on Sunday, December 1. Additional information is available on the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce’s website.
