Casa Grande plans oversized trash drop-off day

The City of Casa Grande recently announced that it has scheduled a special collection day for the community, and it will offer an opportunity to get rid of oversized trash items.

The city’s Code Enforcement department has scheduled a Drop Off Day for locals for a Saturday in mid-October. Everyone who calls the area home is welcome to take full advantage of the chance to have their unwanted large items disposed of properly by trained professionals.

In the listing prepared for the occasion, the planners explained that a range of items will be accepted at the collection point, and these include appliances, furniture, tires and assorted “green waste”. The service will be available to the public for four and a half hours and it will be provided on a first come, first served basis. There is no fee being charged, and the materials left will be sorted and sent to the proper disposal facility.

Community guides give those who live in an area information about upcoming activities that may be of interest to them. These publications, along with pamphlets and other items, may be prepared by a brochure printing company.

Casa Grande’s waste management professionals will be offering this drop-off service on October 15. The collection point will be set up in Peart Park, which is located at 350 East 6th Street.
