Casa Grande gets two new cell towers
AT&T has installed two new cell towers in Casa Grande.
The new constructions are near the intersections of Florence Boulevard and Marshall Street, and McMurray Boulevard and Arizola Road.
In addition, AT&T upgraded a cell tower that already existed in the city. According to a spokesperson for the telecommunications giant, the expansion is intended to help customers maximize the use they get from all their mobile devices. This includes texting, using various forms of social media, watching television, and playing videos.
AT&T Arizona and New Mexico president, Jerry Fuentes, said the company was excited by the opportunity to bring faster speeds to businesses and residents in Casa Grande. He also noted that AT&T continually looks for innovative methods to supply better coverage, adding the company is hoping to accomplish this by investing in the local wireless network.
Casa Grande lies almost exactly halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, making it a bedroom community for many residents who work in the cities but live in Casa Grande. This trend has transformed the city's economic base from agriculture to service industries, making good communications vital.
AT&T officials might consider working with a flyer printing company to create a prepaid mailer for the city's residents, explaining the service upgrades that the new towers will make possible, and leaving room for recipients to respond with questions.
