Casa Grande could get a Dutch Bros.

Fans of Dutch Bros. coffee may have to wait longer than expected for a stand to open in Casa Grande, as discussions between the company and the city are still ongoing. However, things look promising for an eventual opening.

The new coffee kiosk would be located at Camino Mercado and Florence Boulevard, a parcel Simon CRE, a commercial real estate developer, is interested in. Simon CRE has already submitted a site plan for developing the land, but the company's CEO and founder, Joshua Simon, has no comment to make about the company's plans.

Dutch Bros., though, has a slightly different version of events. The coffee company's public relations lead, Amanda Veek, said the company was already doing due diligence on a Casa Grande location, and had begun designing the kiosk. Veek added, however, that although Dutch Bros. would like to open in the desert city, there is no timeframe in place.

It is likely that the measures will be put before the planning commission in March. If all goes well, the Casa Grande location will join new stores in Phoenix, Goodyear, and Glendale—locations Dutch Bros. has targeted as part of the growth it plans to achieve in the next five months.
